The GSZ in collaboration with SEG is sponsoring two  final year Undergraduate Students from the Univesity of Zimbabwe to present posters at the Annual SEG  conference in Australia, September 2025.

 

On 9 July 2025  the two students delivered their talks to 30 members of the Society.

 

Pharisie Chibaya spoke on 'Link between deformation and pegmatite emplacement in the Mataki greenstone belt, north-east Zimbabwe: implications to lithium prospectivity'

 

Beauty Gwitira spoke on 'Lithium-bearing Benson mine pegmatites in the Mataki Greenstone Belt, north-east Zimbabwe Craton: another case of pegmatites with no recognisable parental granite?'
